Some fun can be had with the game's fairly meaty upgrade system, which lets you plough points and currency into your character and your weapons, but when the core fighting is so stolid it soon loses its appeal.Ĭall of Mini Zombies 2 is a zombie game alright. The gunplay itself is pretty unsatisfying. Exacerbating the problem further still is the fact that it takes an absolute age to spin your view around 360 degrees. What makes this especially problematic is that your main tactic - especially when taking on a boss - is to shoot while backpedalling. You end up with a severely restricted view of proceedings, with frequent instances of zombies shuffling up on you from behind. given that your character is physically present on screen. We've trawled these arenas, mown down these shuffling hordes, and upgraded these automatic weapons before. When we say that Call of Mini Zombies 2 is more of the same, we're not just talking about the fact that it's a sequel. Now here's something we haven't seen before - a game about shooting zombies.
